Candidates for the position of field editor for the MICS should study these instructions carefully
during their training. They should also study the Instructions for Interviewers, since it is
necessary to thoroughly understand the questionnaire and the procedures for completing it.
Individuals selected to serve as field editors should continue to refer to these instructions
throughout the fieldwork period.
